Most School fires in Kenya are intentionally started. REFABS is providing you with an opportunity to ensure Fire safety by proposing a
checklist that gauges how prepared your school is in the unlikely event of a fire. This checklist borrows heavily from the National Fire
Protection Agency (NFPA) Codes & Standards. Though domiciled in the USA these codes / standards are also regularly used in Kenya as
they have been found to be reliable. Kindly fill out the form and email (refabse@gmail.com) so that we can offer you FREE advice on how
to secure your school from fire tragedies. This exercise can also help your school find insurers. Please state ‘N/A’ if an item does not exist.

NFPA 101 :Life Safety Code
NFPA 25 :Standard for the Inspection,Testing,and Maintenance of Water-Based Fire Protection Systems
NFPA 96 :Standard for Ventilation Control and Fire Protection of Commercial Cooking Operations
NFPA 72 :National Fire Alarm and Signaling Code®
NFPA 10 :Standard for Portable Fire Extinguishers
